Re: No QRB for 9024?

Since your passkey is entered as shown in the log, no idea why the client is not estimating the points correctly. Will need to check after the WU is completed and turned in to see if it got just the base points or points that include the QRB. It has not been a problem with Project 9024 before that I recall.

How long was the system off or sleeping before this log you posted was started? A TPF of 2:11 means it should be completed in 3:38 PROVIDED there are no interruptions in processing between download and upload. Then, too, the projected TPF (and therefore the ETA) are estimates based on completing a few percentages at a uniform rate. Obviously if the completion time can't be ESTIMATED accurately, neither can the the estimated points. When you make changes to the settings or otherwise do things which disrupt that orderly completion of a few percentage, it takes a while to reestablish reasonable estimates. Let FAH run a while before you look at those numbers.

In addition to what Bruce said to let it run for more than 3 frames to get a better PPD estimate, it could also be the other part of what he said. If the work unit was downloaded a week ago, but the PC was not folding all that time, the timeout or deadline may pass before the WU is finished, even at 2 min per frame, hence no bonus. What does FAHControl show for the download and timeout date?

The WU did get the QRB as part of the points awarded:
Hi Kebast (team 229226),
Your WU (P9024 R188 C4 G33) was added to the stats database on 2015-10-23 18:08:18 for 1298.72 points of credit.

Thanks, I haven't had a chance to log in to that machine, but thanks for checking! The log I posted was a few minutes after doing another copy/paste of the passcode and restarting the machine. It had been running unhindered for several days before that. I had noticed some very odd numbers at times in the Estimated credit though. It's listed 50-80k ppd at times for the CPU slot. I'll check it in a bit and see if the current WU is listed appropriately.

The machine is doing the same thing today for a 9028 WU (207 base, 207 estimated). The log file shows the correct estimated credit though for completed WU. I'll take a look at the next one in 3 hours or so.

Have you run FAH both with and without Admin privileges?

If so, do a FINISH and when everything has uploaded, install again, including data. (This is just a guess.)

I've never ran it specifically With. It's worked OK up to this point. I'll play with it when I next have some free time. It seems to be folding OK, and sending the results up, so I'll leave it be for now.

Are you ALWAYS starting FAHClient with the shortcut provided or are you using some other method. The shortcut opens the proper local directory.

I'm not sure I've ever started it manually on this machine. It just gets loaded on boot. I pull up FAHControl from the icon in the system tray.
