14542 (0, 1680, 65) - Sanity Check

Post by ToeBlister »

CPU = i5-3470 (4c)
RAM = 16GB
WU = 14542 (0, 1680, 65)

I wanna get a sanity check.
My TPF is ~6mins and ETA is 7.5 hours with 2.5 hours in.

Is this a big boi WU or is there something wrong with my system?
I haven't folded something this long on CPU yet (admittedly, I mostly fold on GPU).

14542 isn't huge, but its base points are relatively high for its size implying it takes a bit of folding … You are folding on a three core slot - my 6 core (slow server CPU) folded these in just over 4min TPF so it looks reasonable to me … Worth getting a feel for the PPD that you tend to see of each of your slots - TPF may be long but if base points are high that balances it out - you should find you get a range of values that feel reasonable and you will notice any that are wildly out quite quickly.
