No more credits? WU 16927

Post by Chris_TG »

Hi there,

my client keeps gettings this spurious WU 16927 again and again. :?
After processing and uploading I get no credits somehow. The last unit that was counted correctly was on 11/05/2020.
Also, the number of completed WUs in my profile do not count up any more.
What's going wrong there?

Here's an excerpt of my logs:

This has been reported ... project 16927 WUs are not being reported to the stats service ... it will get resolved but these things can take time ... you should be getting different PRCG for each WU - if not then that is a different issue ... as long as the log shows the last three lines or similar then at some point you will get the points and WUs registered in the stats but it can take weeks or even months

This project is still on Beta status, you should not be getting these except if you set that preference. As mentioned this has been reported and they are looking into the problem, eventually all the points will get awarded. In addition this is a new server, there may be issues with getting the necessary ports through a firewall opened by their IT people.

Update - This should be fixed now, WUs waiting to be credited are starting to show up as of about an hour ago.

Hi there,

thanks for your replies.

Meanwhile I got SOME credits for abt. half of the processed WUs.
Still, I keep getting WUs with the same number 16927 and after processing the counter in my stats does not count up everytime.
An why is that page still missing? https://stats.foldingathome.org/project?p=16927

cheers,
Chris

Please list some of the PRCG for WUs you have yet to receive credit for .. fairly sure all mine were credited but tbh I didn't look too closely .. apart from the ones that suffered from the short response/dumped issue.

Sometimes project descriptions aren't updated by the researchers and a post here allows someone to prompt them.

This type of thing/issue does happen and can take time to sort out on beta WUs - it is a "price" of running the flag and is accepted .. one of the reasons that FaH asks only beta team members to use the beta flag

Would probably be best if you posted the PRCG to the beta forum thread for this project as help on beta projects is normally only in the beta forums

Neil - you're right. I must have added the "beta"-flag some day, maybe for testing.
I wasn't aware that it was still present there - so my fault!
Thanks for the hint!
