[05:41:11] - Server does not have record of this unit. Will try again later.
Given sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine.

Hi johnph77,

I've had several of those type of "failures" -- but they aren't really failing. If you look in your log, it will show something like this:
[16:27:01] + Attempting to send results
[16:27:01] - Reading file work/wuresults_04.dat from core
[16:27:01] (Read 6745721 bytes from disk)
[16:27:01] Connecting to http://171.64.65.65:8080/
[16:27:02] - Couldn't send HTTP request to server
[16:27:02] + Could not connect to Work Server (results)

[16:27:02] (171.64.65.65:8080)
[16:27:02] - Error: Could not transmit unit 04 (completed January 8) to work server.
[16:27:02] - 4 failed uploads of this unit.

[16:27:02] + Attempting to send results
[16:27:02] - Reading file work/wuresults_04.dat from core
[16:27:02] (Read 6745721 bytes from disk)
[16:27:02] Connecting to http://171.65.103.100:8080/
[16:29:27] Posted data.
[16:29:27] Initial: 0000; - Uploaded at ~45 kB/s
[16:29:27] - Averaged speed for that direction ~45 kB/s

[16:29:27] - Server does not have record of this unit. Will try again later.
[16:29:27] Could not transmit unit 04 to Collection server; keeping in queue.

[16:29:27] + Sent 0 of 1 completed units to the server
[16:29:27] - Autosend completed
The original Work Server xx.65 Server is busy, and refusing my connect. (xx.65 above)
The Network's Collection Server accepted the connect, but it has no record of that specific WU, and so it rejects the upload, leaving it in my queue. (xx.100 above)
Once the load drops on the WU Server you'll connect and send it.
[20:47:56] Connecting to http://171.64.65.65:8080/
[20:50:18] Initial: 0000; - Uploaded at ~45 kB/s
[20:50:21] - Averaged speed for that direction ~45 kB/s
[20:50:21] + Results successfully sent
[20:50:21] Thank you for your contribution to Folding@Home.
If you go to http://fah-web.stanford.edu/serverstat.html you can check the Server Status of the Stanford farm. The explaination of the columns is at the bottom; Net Load is the main lockout point -- too many connects gives the refusal.

Cheers. :)
