Projects 10436/10437 simulate the Villin Headpiece in the amber99sb-ildn force field at 300K / 278K in a solution with 3M of GdmCl denaturant.

Points: 311
Timeout: 8
Deadline: 12

This project uses the quick return bonus for those of you who have passkeys set up.

This project uses the A4 core.

This project is for both win32 and linux.

To clarify:

1. This project is uniprocessor.
2. This project uses the Quick Return Bonus (QRB)

We are testing the use of QRB on single core A4 workunits.

Please Note:

Some of you may have received project 10437 as a multithreaded (SMP) workunit. If this is case, nothing is wrong with your setup.

The new (v227) A4 core is capable of running as either an SMP or classic (single threaded) modes.

These projects are intended to be classic (single-threaded), but they were accidently set to SMP mode temporarily. Some of you (about 400 of you) have received 10437 SMP workunits. I have now corrected the issue, and 10437 should now be assigning only to classic clients.

Sorry for the confusion!

Note: some of you have asked about the "other" molecules in this simulation: GdmCl is a denaturant commonly used to unfold proteins:
