Problem editing/preparing replies to message contain [Code]

Post by ParrLeyne »

I was posting a reply to a message (http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f ... 97#p134693) which contains a rather long Code block.

I found that the reply message box was having a real problem allowing me to edit the message (especially when the code block was in the visual display area).

Does anyone else have this problem?

I am running IE 8 on WinXP 64.

You mean like the text keeps jumping around when you want to add something at the very bottom making it almost impossible to see what your typing?

Yes. It's aggravating! :x

Or this forum could be fixed so it works with IE8! :P

Actually, P5-133XL's suggestion seems to work. :)

Thanks P5-133XL :!:

It's the thing you use to get Windows updates. Try doing that with Firefox.

So it only has two usages ... download firefox and windows updates ... I wish we could use something else for Windows Update so that I could save some space on my HDD

If you use FF 3.5.8 with IE Tab add-on, then you never have to even open IE for anything. I just use it to import website into OneNote as FF add-on is experimental.
