Forum notifications not getting through?

Anyone else having issues? I haven't gotten a new post notification for the past week, and missed some posts in threads for instance. My subscriptions are still in place, just not getting any mail notifications at all.

I've only just started using forum notifications & they've been coming through regularly...

I've set them up for every thread I post in, the list is quite long.. I also have two forum section subscriptions running. Everything always worked like it should until some time time ago I just stopped receiving them ( they are also not on my ignore list, and I can't find them in my trash can where spam is thrown in ).

I do have a mailing list subscription which generates a couple of hundred mails a day if I'm unlucky, it might be that Hotmail is messing up because of this subscription ( it was when I signed up there that I started to notice notifications not coming through, and the last couple of days it happened more then once that hotmail wasn't accessible at all ).

I'll try removing my mailing list subscription, if that doesn't help I don't know what else to try.

have you tried sending them to a different email account?

Consider this a test for that ( though I'm using an alias which redirects to my same account ). That account is the center of all my mail activity, all aliases and other accounts are relayed there ( and I really enjoy this centralized place ).

I've submitted a ticket with our hosting provider as it looks like a network issue.

Yeah I have not posted yet but on my alias I'm not receiving them either. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Thanks for looking into it UF

Anyone else with a live or hotmail or yahoo account who wants to try and help get this issue fixed quicker, should consider filing a support request/submitting feedback to their email provider.

I am using live mail for a long time and with good experience, however a problem has recently arise which is bothering me greatly.

I'm a long time member of foldingforum.org, the official support forum for the Folding@Home distributed computing project originating from Stanford university ( http://folding.stanford.edu/ ). Since the 11th this month I been unable to receive notification mails, and I asked the administrators to look into this.

It seems your servers are rejecting their mail because of suspicion of spam. Another mail hoster ( yahoo ) claims to have received many complaints about the foldingforum.org domain.

Maybe some spammer is spoofing the domain, but I can assure you those notification mails are not spam! I would like to ask you to remove the foldingforum.org domain from your blacklist, as to enable receiving normal email notifications for all your foldingforum.org users.
