*Sigh*
Sad to see that someone had so much free time on their hands to write a spam bot for phpbb3.
Oh well, time to put the RAC mod back on the forum methinks.

With an open source and so much used board software, it was just a matter of time before someone does this :(

I hope you all realize there is a report function on the BBS that can be used to resolve spam issues without resorting to a post/thread. Click the red exclamation point next to the quote button on the spam post.

Yes, I know about the report button but I do not know if all mods/admins get notified about the report. It'd be pointless if everyone gets a spam report when all it takes is the first mod to see this post and delete it.

Yes, it flags the thread that the reported post is in as needing attention. The mod/admin that gets to it fist, takes action, and then closes the report. Reports are global to all mods/admins. We don't each get a PM, or e-mail,if that is what you were thinking.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I thought each one of you got a PM.

Probably time to upgrade to a later version of phpBB, too. ;)
