Note: These results are just indicative and will not truly represent the Projects using FahCore_17. That means that some Projects are more stressful or less when compared to FAHBench thus just because you can pass the stress mode, doesn't mean that your overclock is 100% stable so you should reduce it and see if that eliminates the issue or not. The difference between OpenMM 5.0 and OpenMM 5.1 is shown as a percentage in the brackets. I tried running FAHBench on Intel HD 4000 but it kept freezing my laptop and I had to do a hard reset. Updating the SDK might work but haven't yet had the time to try it out. These results are from FAHBench 1.2.0

The HD4000 won't run; it stalled at "Benchmarking" on Explicit for a couple hours.

3770k @4.3 GHz, 8 GB DDR3-2133:
OpenCL Explicit SP: 3.89 ns/day (+4.6%)
OpenCL Implicit SP: 3.725 ns/day (-5.1%)

I too got the same issue. I did inform proteener and was instructed to use the latest SDK -> http://software.intel.com/en-us/vcsourc ... l-sdk-2013 I haven't yet tried it out but you could if possible.

Will not run on my AMD 7970

Did a clean install of CAT 13.4

All previous drivers cleaned with AMD drive cleaner.

Runs through explicit...then fails on implicit.

however, running new core 17 without problem. :wink:

Core: 810MHz, 15.71% OC, stock is 700MHz, shaders follow at 2x == 1620MHz
Memory: 810MHz, 1.25% OC, stock is 800MHz (I like "synchronous" clocks, FWIW here)

FahBench 1.2.0 vs 1.1.2 OpenCL SP explicit:
3.87542 / 3.36441 == 15.19% performance gain

OCL SP implicit didn't change one way or the other.

I installed the SDK that page suggested, and their driver update tool says I'm at the latest revision, but still no luck. I didn't wait as long as last time, but I would think that it would begin after 10 minutes. The driver actually crashes almost as soon as it starts.

I have informed Proteneer about the AMD HD 7970 issue as well as the Intel HD 4000 issue so let's see what happens.

Looked up my old post... yes, that 18.593 was actually for v0.3. I just rebenched OCL SP implicit only, just to make sure. The improvement for me is only 1.65% since v0.3 days. I guess that could be written off as statistical fluctuation and/or driver update. Anyway, let's go with the most recent result - 18.8992 ns/day (v1.2.0, 314.22 WHQL).

By the way, what are the requirements for running CPU OCL benchmark? Can any old Intel CPU do it? Would be amusing - in a morbid way - to post the score for my Atom330. :mrgreen:

IIRC, the OpenCL 1.2 is supported by Ivy Bridge, Haswell with the latest Intel HD Driver update. Not sure about the previous ones. You might be able to (OpenCL 1.1 I think) if you download the right SDK -> http://software.intel.com/en-us/article ... ions#ocl_3

Do wish that instead of just mentioning Intel Core CPUs, it would be more meaningful if they stated Intel Model CPU X or higher.
