Did you mean to write that the CUDA is now detected instead of "not detected"? Because the CUDA is definitely shown as detected in the log:

All folding sweetly now on Windows 8.1 Pro so I deduce that the windows version had little or nothing to do with the fix.

Hi Joe_H

Thanks for spotting that. I went by the CUDA entry in the System Info tab, which was not detected. But you are right - it is now there. Don't understand as that is now one of the things I check after a driver refresh. So, is it dynamic with the system able to download components without user intervention?

Not looking any gift horses in the mouth, though...
