Stanford has no policy regarding over/under-clocking. Do so at your own risk.

Overclocking does increase performance at the expense of increased power. Underclocking does reduce power and performance.
In both cases, power changes faster than performance within the "normal" range.

There are many fine sites where you can discuss overclocking, and this is not one of them. We support FAH's software.
