EVGA GPU LED need update

Post by Aurum »

I've been annoyed by all these useless LEDs on my GPU cards. I just discovered EVGA has the utility LEDVisualizer that can disable all the LEDs. It can also set alarm lights but they only work as meets or exceeds a value such as GPU utilization, which is useless except maybe for temperature. For protein folding it would be uselful to set an alarm if GPU utilization was below say 20%. That way blinking LEDs would let me know to check FAHControl and see if a GPU is stopped for some reason and get it restarted.

http://international.download.nvidia.co ... .0.0.0.exe

With such a large EVGA folding team I'm surprised EVGA has not implemented this before.

Same would be nice for Gigabyte, MSI, etc.

Does anyone know of a utility that can set a lower than alarm :?:

If you set it light above 20%, than you would be concerned when the annoying lights are off.

It has an on/off switch so I just turned them off.
When I tried 20% they come on periodically whenever the GPU is waiting for the CPU or it's in between WUs.

Then if it is off longer than 1 min you would be concerned.
