For those interested, AMD launched the RX 5600XT and Ryzen 4000 Laptop CPUs today at CES. Worth taking a look, the 5600 and the 1660 Super look to be the best options in the budget space now. The mobile CPUs also have large performance gains (though these haven’t been independently verified yet).

Do know that most of the time, mobile chipsets are lower power, lower performing clones of their desktop counterparts.

One of the highlights from the Intel keynote was the announcement of their next-gen mobile CPUs, Tiger Lake. Double digit performance uplift aside, the doubling of the iGPU's performance is especially of note, given all of the recent discussion of using iGPUs to augment CPU folding.
