Shows running and on Project, but no GPU Usage?

Post by Harpo »

I've got a Radeon Pro S10000 running F@H. Both gpu cores are clocking up and showing heat, but gpu usage (as reported in Afterburner) stays at 0%.

Is this normal?

It looks to be supported as two separate GPUs. You could try GPU-Z's sensor tab. (You may have two sensor tabs.)

You may need two GPU slots for F@H to use both GPUs, if you post the first 200 lines of the log, that would help us tell.

Tried GPU-Z, it does show both cores working at 95-96%. Apparently Afterburner only shows 3d usage?

There are a confusing set of labels for the processing activity that FAH uses. I suspect that Afterburner calls it something else.

GPU-Z calls it "GPU Load"

When you open the performance tab of the task manager, you should see some graphs at 0% activity.
In the first graph, there is a label called "3D" with an arrow just next to it. If you click that arrow and select "Compute 1" you will see your real GPU Activity
