You could potentially run 3 or a max of 4 GPUs, for highest PPD.
Your CPU is fast enough to feed 2 GPUs, and then some.

However, you could replace it with a Pentium Gold G5000 series. it has 2 cores, 4 threads, and might easier run 4 to 6 GPUs.

Actually my 1070 is at 947k ppd... this card is beast haha

Ohh nice, depending on how many PCI-e cables my PSU has I'm tempted in installing 3 into one of my machines.

What temps are you getting with it?

with fans at 60% she stays at 59-60 degrees in a Corsair 400C with 2 intake / 1 exhaust.

if i have a better PSU in that system i would slap my extra 1070 in SLI just for the more PPD's haha

Yea sounds good but you won't need to enable SLI for the extra PPDs :P

Indeed SLI will not help for folding each card runs on its own.
