That's great, u_f. Good job.

There's only one 3870 score posted so far.

Site stats for fahinfo.org indicate the pages have received over a million hits, but only 334 people have submitted scores.
Hmmmm.

Hi There :)

I've been a long time "Viewer" for the forums and i've been folding for quite some time. I've downloaded the GPU2, and tried to run it with my HD 2600XT but i wasn't so successful with it. It has been trying to get work packets for a while now. I've been having this problem with my other computer lately. It could not receive and send works so i gave up on my other computer; which carries a X1900XT. But the computer that HD 2600XT has Windows 2003 Server x64 on it with all the latest drivers [i've just done a fresh install]. The computer has Opty 165 with 4 GB DDR ram. Everything is running at stock speeds. I did restart the computer right after the installation but it did not help me. I used to run SMP client, but i've stoped it [just for now].

Here is a part of the log. If i can get this working, maybe i will try my X1900XT again :)..

I got the points. The log file reaches 100% then it cries EUE. This is on a 2600XT overclocked to 857 mhz core and 870 mhz memory.

I was just wondering if it was actually an EUE at the very last second, or if that is an issue. Like in SMP where it says "you failed to shutdown the core properly for the last 8 consecutive times" or something like that.

Hello hell_spawn, welcome to the forum.

When I see messaging like that in the log, the most common cause is local software. Firewall, Antivirus, Anti-Adware, something that blocks the client from communicating with Stanford.

Disable whatever you feel comfortable disabling, and try again. Otherwise, please try to configure each to specifically allow fah to communicate with Stanford.

This issue was noted and was thought to have been fixed.

Were you running anything else when the WU finished? Was a screensaver running?

Thank you for the warm welcome 7im.. :)

I've tried disabling NOD32. I do not have any Firewall other then my WRT54GS router. And i have activated DMZ for that computer. I still cannot get passed the Attempting part. For the anti-adware program, i've had Spybot Search and Destroy and Ad-Aware.. I've uninstalled them both and then restarted my computer.. Still having the same problem.. Do you have any other suggestions?

SMP Client is working fine.. I haven't stoped that in months... It is just working beatifully.

Let's verify basic connectivity to Stanford.

Can you ping assign.stanford.edu
or assign2.stanford.edu
or 171.65.103.98?

Open http://171.65.103.95 in IE. Do you see an OK message?

Hi,

My log also reports 100%-EUEs for two units I have completed, successfully sent and got points for.
HD 2900 XT, Core 2 Duo E6400 @ 2.14 Ghz, no other problems so far.

I've noticed my 2600XT is @ 99% GPU usage with a 1.9ghz athlon X2 Brisbane. Seems like that's plenty of CPU to handle the 2600XT @ 800mhz. The 3850 on the other hand hovers around 73% with a C2D @ 3.0Ghz, with the GPU 2 700Mhz.

Also, that clock is awfully high. (And overclocking the memory can cause random corruption and has litlle if no impact on folding performance...) If you run at standard clocks or even 2D clocks are things stable? If things still break when gaming or watching video, please provide as detailed of a reproduction case as possible.
