FAH v6 SMP on Puppy Linux

Postby joaomcteixeira » Wed Jan 29, 2014 4:34 pm

I there!

I have installed the client 6.02,
running it on my computer I am using 25% of the CPU capabilities. How can I set them to use 50% instead?

regards

Welcome to the forum, joaomcteixeira.

Run the v6.34 client, and add the -smp switch.

Better yet, install that latest V7 client.

Hi!!
thanks for the help!
I don't had yet enough time to look into the Fah installation. I tried the new version on Lubuntu 13.10 and it worked great!
But, I am running Puppy Slacko right now.
isn't there a generic linux v7 client? rather than only .rpm or .deb packages? I tried installing the .rpm in puppy slacko without success.
