FAH uses port 8080 and 80 ... even if port 8080 is blocked somewhere, it would use port 80 instead, and this one will work, because it's the port used for browsing the web (http port).

Either leave it as is, or use a proxy.

And dont edit client.cfg with nano. It is a binary file, not a text file. Edit it with the client by passing the -configonly flag.
