Hi all,

Trying to get this running but seem unable to download any WUs - any advice please? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. You may be having this issue since you are running v6.23 of the client. Please see the related announcement. You may want to give v7 open beta a try. Also it is possible that the recent network issue could be partly to blame. Thanks for folding. :)

-forcegpu ati_r800 is not a valid argument for 6.23 client.

Try ati_r600 or ati_r700, or upgrade to a newer client (6.41 should recognize the ati_r800 flag and the v7 client should autodetect everything without the need of arguments).

I am having the exact same results (identical log except attempt#13) on the GPU2 (for ATI 5850/Win7) client downloaded this morning. It was the only appropriate GPU2 client available for my hardware/OS. Where is 6.41 GPU client available for download or should I run the ver7 beta?

v6.41 is on the same page as v6.23, but labeled for NV, but it's all the same at this point.

But get V7 instead. Then add the client option for "client-type" with a setting of "advanced" so you get the newest ATI work units.
