See this for the same question: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=20410

My answer would be no for one single reason: if GPU folding worked in VB under Linux, then we would not have the Wine workaround, and it would be the standard answer to every inquiry about GPU folding it Linux. As it is, "use Wine" or "there is no GPU support for Linux" are the standard answers, more or less.

Technically speaking, the problem seems to be that VB does not fully expose the GPU to the guest OS. I do not know if this completely stops it from folding (I think it does - last time I saw Windows run in VB the GPU was listed as a "VGA adapter" - I am not sure the drivers were installed though), or if it just hampers performance.

There is no wine support of FAH for ATI drivers.

i run 2 boxes 24/7 , one windows and one linux, i sure would like to get more folding use for my linux box.
