Client dumping WU's after pausing

Postby Activate: AMD » Fri Sep 20, 2013 10:57 pm

This has been a recurring issue for me. Pausing WU's using the v7 client, folding on 2x AMD 7970's

Happens on both clients at the same time, two different WU's (both project 8900)

EDIT: Maybe worth mentioning, this is running the Catalyst 13.10 beta's, both GPU's exhibit this behavior with and without an overclock.

Need to see the *** System *** section of the log, including the config section.
How to provide enough information to get helpful support

Sorry, whomever recommended you add the beta setting should have warned you about the risks of running potentially unstable fahcores or work units.

Additionally, forum rules prevent me from talking about beta in this public section of the forum. You have the option of joining the beta team and moving this discussion to the beta section of the forum if you are willing to follow those guidelines, or you can change the beta setting to advanced which can be discussed here.

Some non beta things I can ask about are GPU temps? Any driver crash errors in the windows event log? Is this a new install or has this PC been folding core 17 WUs for a while?

Change the client type setting to advanced. Exit fah. Go to the fah data folder, then the cores folder and delete the core 17. Start fah.
