Don't let it install your GPU drivers. Several reports of it borking people's NV drivers and causing GPU to stop folding.

The Windows upgrade will install it's own Windows drivers. After that you will need to reinstall the Nvidia drivers.

Windows 10 has drivers for the older cars, but Nvidia does not have them for windows 10. However the windows drivers for those older cars seem to work for fah, as reported in the forum elsewhere. But that would be off topic for this thread.

Thanks. I let it download, but haven't started the install. Waiting for the weekend so I'll have time to fix whatever breaks.

Since you have to reinstall the Nvidia drivers, make sure to "finish" any units you're working on before rebooting.

Looks like 359 is the most current driver for Windows 10. This one OK?

Yes, that's the latest and we haven't had any negative reports.

Yeah, I don't keep up with individual WU ppd enough to know. Random glance is within normal range, 269k on 9412 (178, 4, 14).

i am using a gtx970 gaming 4g as folding only and a R9 390 gaming 8G as screen card, using amd and nvidia drivers for both. My r9 and gtx970 is making around 255K ppd each, the 390 is making the same as the gtx, when used as normal with 2 monitors on (1920*1024) this is under win 10 updatet from win 8. Justy make sure that your cpu has free power for servicing the card(s).
To Beleave is something but to know is 1000 times better.

Is your gaming GPU set to fold on "idle"?
