Install trouble

I am running a radeon hd 3200 it says when I go to install that cab files are missing from the disk? is the setup file busted or am I missing something?

hello.

this subsection of the forum deals with amd/ati and gpu folding@home. your question doesn't seem to lean in this direction.

what are you trying to setup and install?

The fah client doens't use cab files. Download the ATI driver for that card from the ATI web site. OEM drivers (disk) don't always work that well with the GPU client.

ok maybe I didnt explain this well enough ....I do apologize .... I am trying to install FAH ...but when I run the installer it says cab files are missing. I was just stating what video card I am useing as the program came with my card .

If you are running on Vista, try giving "Everyone" full access to the .msi file.

This sounds like the problem I had when I was installing the client!

lol wow I forgot about this post .... I even forgot I had tried to get this program to work before hahahaha ....I never did get it to work with that card by the way but I'm a Nvid man now and its working fine :-)
