When I had this error on one of my 9800 GTX+, it was a sign of dead board. Luckily, it happened during warranty and I had it replaced.

Did you run MemtestG80 on your card to check for errors ?

These logs show you running the GPU1 work on GPU1 (I think you duped the earlier log) and the GPU2 work unit on GPU1. GPU1 is consistently failing with the self test error. There is probably no need to evaluate GPU1 any more since toTow agrees it is probably a dead card. Time for diagnostics as suggested.

Now we need a reverse test. Return all the shortcuts to their original settings (GPU0 - dir GPU 1, GPU1 - dir GPU 2, GPU2 - dir GPU 3). Stop GPU0. Start GPU2 and stop it midstream in a work unit. Then change the shortcut for GPU2 to GPU0 and start the GPU2 client. This should run the GPU2 work on GPU0. We looking to see if GPU0 can now process or gets stuck immediately. Then report back and we will craft another test for these two GPUs.

Got it. I missed that in the second log. We know that GPU2 is the good GPU and it was able to run from GPU1's directory. I was hoping to get a work unit from GPU1 in midstream that we could process on GPU2 but I think this is sufficient. I know this is a real pain in the butt, but are you up for renaming your directories and changing your shortcuts. Your directories are numbered 1-3 and I'm referring to GPUs as FAH labels them (0-2), do you mind changing your directories to 0-2. You would also have to make the corresponding changes to your shortcuts. It might make this less confusing. The end result should be: GPU0 - dir GPU 0, GPU1 - dir GPU 1, GPU2 - dir GPU 2

Next, can you run the reverse test as described above. If you did change the directory names then please make the adjustment in the resetting step. Thanks for being patient. Looking forward to your next post.

Chichong, I've been gone for a few days. Wondering if your triple GPUs are running fine now?
