Console 6.23 crashing at work unit completion

I followed the linux install guide and am using:

- 6.23 Windows XP console client (Folding@home-Win32-GPU_XP-623.zip)
- nVidia drivers version 260.19.26
- 32-bit cuda libraries version 3.2.16

I am running at the desktop, so this isn't headless. When I run the GPU client, everything works perfectly until the work unit completes, and I get a popup about a fatal error. The console log looks like this:

Can anyone recommend either (a) what might be wrong or (b) some way to investigate what might be wrong? Thanks!

Could be a bad memory stick, here's a link for Memtest. burn a cd & let it run a couple of hours

No dice; memory checks out. Plus normal CPU folding works fine 24/7, and GPU folding doesn't crash when it's actually doing work, just when it finishes.

what version of the 3rd. part wrapper are you using? I seem to remember that the cuda version must match the wrapper.
the 3.2.16 toolkit may be too new. you might try rolling back to the 3.0 tool kit

how are you launching the gpu client, For my linux boxes I open a terminal window for each gpu, cd to the working dir then
execute the wine fah6.exe -verbosity 9. some boxes have 2 gpu's so they'll have 2 terminals running.

In retrospect, it may be a good idea for the wrapper to check for the version of the CUDA library installed before running.. Similar to how the Windows GPU client checks for drivers, hardware, and such.
