New (well, returning) to folding on Mac. No appropriate...

Postby mthhurley » Fri Sep 14, 2012 1:31 pm

I'm getting back into folding after many years off and installed the V6 Mac client.

I'm having no luck getting a WU

Here are the params I have set in the Preferences panel:
-bigadv -smp -deino -verbosity 9 -advmethods

Here's the log...

Welcome back.

Remove -bigadv. You need 16 cores to do that.
Remove -deino. No longer needed or supported.
Have patience. The last server with work units for this older client is down, but Pande group has been notified. Hopefully resolved quickly.
