Welcome to the F@H Forum dukhia,

If you mean the Passkey, then it can be obtained from here (http://folding.stanford.edu/English/FAQ-passkey). To view Credits, you can check the Stats:
Official -> http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/mai ... =userstats
EOC -> http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/
Others -> http://fahwiki.net/index.php/Third_Part ... tats_Pages

Do remember that you can view your Official Stats once you have successfully completed and upload the WU to the Servers and after the Stats have been updated.

No, however, there are lot of people that make the Windows GPU client work in Linux using Wine. If you are interested you can look at the Wine threads here for help.

I've not personally done it but from what I've read, not much of one, if any.

When you say "hit" you must be comparing something to something else. What would that be? If you're running Linux you either run it under Wine or you don't run it.

There's a lot of discussion about the performance hit of ATI compared to a similarly priced NV gpu, but I don't think that's what you're talking about. In fact, that's an issue for those two companies to work out between themselves.

Cody,

I believe he was thinking of a performance hit from running the windows GPU client using Wine + Linux as opposed to the Windows client running under Windows. If you look up a few posts, he asked if there was a Linux GPU client ...

I guess that makes sense. I normally assume that the choice of OS is based on the primary purpose for the computer (other applications) and FAH is added on to make use of the wasted processing resources. With so many people building computers just for FAH, by assumption can obviously be wrong.
