Are there still GPU projects that use FAHcore_18 or _17?

I found a post that states that Fahcore_21 requires 64-bit OS and 2 gb of memory. AFAIK fahcore_17 and _18 do not need 64-bit. But are there still WU's for those cores as well?

I am certain all of the Core_17 projects have been completed. I am not certain all of the Core_18 WU's are done, but if any remain they are few in number.

The days of 32-bit OSs are numbered. Linux-32 was defined as unsupported several years ago, and AMD's drivers no longer support Win-32. FAH has not taken a position yet, but as Joe suggests, there are very few projects (if any) that can be processed with the remaining 32-bit FAHCore_xx's.

We don't have a way to determine if there are still any WUs for 32-bit OSs except if you tell us ... and once they're gone, we'll have to induce FAH to make a formal statement of Win32's demise.

I got some Core 18 WUs in July, so I guess there are still a few projects around using this core ...

I think there is a 32 bits version of FahCore_21, but since I can't browse the server distributing the cores I don't know if the client can get the 32 bits version of the core. Other question is : are all projects correctly set up to handle the 2 GB memory limit in assignments ?

My core path is fahwebx.stanford.edu\cores\Win32\AMD64\NVIDIA\Fermi\Core_21.fah, so if you can get the 32 bits version, your path will probably not have the "AMD64" reference in the path ...

I think I remember seeing an occasional FAHcore 18 unit in the last month, but they seem to be very uncommon or getting saved for 32 bit clients.
I'm pretty sure that 17 was ANNOUNCED as being dead a while back.

AMD seems to have ended support for 32 bit LINUX with the AMDGPU driver move - so nothing that needs newer than the 15.12 fglrx driver is supported any more for 32-bit LINUX.
