Mac OS question

Post by gcopter1 »

I've downloaded the FAH software. During the install, I selected the option to have FAH run using all the resources in my MacBook Air.

However, during the install, I went ahead and restarted the MB because of a pending update.

Now, after launching FAH, in the "Folding Slots" window, under "Status", I see "Paused:waiting for idle.

Under the "Work Queue", I see "Status" "Ready" but "Progress" is stuck at 1.00 percent.

Is there a setting I can change to take it off "pause" and start processing?

I am dedicating this MB Air solely for this purpose so I do not mind.

What is the slider setting, and is your MacBook attached to power?

Using FAHControl you can right-click on the folding slot and see if it has the setting "On Idle" and change that. On the Light setting a laptop will not run folding if not attached to power. On other settings that can be overridden, but normally a laptop will not fold on the battery power.

The slider is on"Full".
Right clicking on the folding slot, the "On Idle" had a check mark. I clicked it off and now status has changed to "Running".
The MB Air is attached to power.I can now see progress percentile increasing.

Thanks!
