GPU Errors (New User)

Took ages to get a work unit for my GPU and when I eventually got it I got this error:

Can you please post your log file. Ensure that you have copied the System configuration which is present at the start of the log file: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=26036 :)

That does not include the first part of the log showing the system configuration. There is no registered Platform called "OpenCL" is likely a driver problem.

Unfortunately, it is still missing the section that I need to see. If you're using FAHControl, you will need to click on "Refresh" and then untick the "Follow" button. Scroll to the top and then select the first ~100 lines. I need to see something similar to this:

Unfortunately, it is still missing the initial section (compare my log post above to yours). May I suggest that you restart your system and then it will generate a new log file which you can then post here :)

Thanks for that... Do note that there's a new version released a short while ago 7.6.9

I think something might be wrong when you installed the drivers as this is shown in your log file:

If you see my log file, I have both CUDA and OpenCL values. However, since your GPU hasn't been allocated a WU, I am not sure if it will fold or not. Currently, there's a massive demand for GPU WUs and work is being done to mitigate the shortage.

You are using windows 10 so I'm assuming windows installed the driver and they only install a partial driver, you need to get the driver from nvidia to get openCL to fold.
