VMware Version

Post by patricko »

I'm proposing FAH to my department. We have some unused servers on a shelf that are maybe 5 years old that could be useful. Is anyone using the VMware fling? Are we be able to use our own team/passkey or does the fling only allow for Team VMware? Thanks

Welcome to the F@H Forum patricko,

If you're talking about this: https://flings.vmware.com/vmware-applia ... lding-home then I can't see anything where changing the Team ID is against their usage policy. However, if you have doubts, it would be best to ask VMWare directly as they are responsible for it (and post your findings here). Officially speaking, this is unsupported by F@H but it is acknowledged on the official download page for courtesy to other donors.
