In the days of dial-up modems, Browser speed and email downloads could be accelerated by introducing compression/decompression to the data stream. Unfortunately that corrupts downloads of FAHCores (etc.)

I have uninstalled Turbo LAN, PLC Utility, GOG.com Downloader, Picasa, CDBurnerXP and Flash Player. So far, it does not seem to have helped. But at least Turbo LAN came with a driver of its own, so after a reboot the situation may be different now.

Smart Switch is a software to update a Samsung Galaxy Tab, in case it cannot be updated by itself (which has happened to me).

TBH, I am running out of ideas... it seems to be something specific to your system which is causing issues. Highly likely to be software based and there's no easy way to figure out what's blocking since we have been through all the common factors :(

In order to check whether this is a software or hardware issue, you could disconnect all your present drives and install a fresh copy of Windows (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softwar ... /windows10 ) on a spare drive, then install only FAH there with all defaults options. If it folds, you know it is software related. If it doesn't, you have a hardware issue.

Assuming that you have a spare drive, and follow ajm's suggestion, make sure you install the latest drivers from Nvidia's website and then install F@H software... hopefully, that works :)
