No. Too many new devices would look like gpus but not fold or cause other problems.

And whitelisting is more than just flipping a switch. CUDA or OPENCL level of each device is also set, allowing proper wu selection. And obviously this manual WL process is not supportable long term. As JV mentioned, ther are already tickets open to improve the process.
Make it update outside of client releases.

Speaking of white-listing...
Radeon HD 7970 is being sold now and I have one on my way! :D
Can't wait to test it out.

Joe's comment looks rather promising:
Patience please... We are working on it right now.

Guys, since I don't leave my PC on 24/7 I opted for using 4 uniprocessor slots rather than a SMP slot for my Core i5 2500k. However currently they are all doing the same project, with different completion percentages!

Is this normal? I am afraid that the cores might be independently working on the same parts of the same project, unaware that other cores have already worked on such parts, and basically wasting the work of 3 cores! My client is set to *not* lock slots to specific cores.

While the Project is the same, the WUs are actually different because the Run Clone and Gen numbers are different. Moreover, you may want to upgrade to the latest Beta version V7.1.43 -> viewtopic.php?f=67&t=20459

Yeah I have that one. I found it strange that a mod didn't lock this topic and posted a link to the .43 forum topic like the other ones. Thanks!

Edit: Why do the viewers for 3 different projects show exactly the same protein even though each project's description makes it clear they should be wildly different? =/

If the simulation doesn't have a live protein, it will default to the demo protein. A ticket (https://fah-web.stanford.edu/projects/F ... ticket/409) is already opened.

Thanks for reminding, I will lock this topic now.

EDIT -> FAHClient V7.1.43 released (5th Open-Beta)
