I have rebooted three times now. Left it connecting for upwards of 5 minutes. The FAHControl is not starting any processes. And as it cannot connect, I cannot access any log through the GUI. I thought to open the FAHClient while FAHControl was open, and it then connected immediately and worked, as I was able to grab this log. It appears that FAHControl is no longer starting the client. And as soon as I close the command line window which FAHClient opens, FAHControl loses connection.

Here is the log I was able to grab.

Open FAHControl and check the Preferences. Is there a check-mark in Autostart for Local Client?

Unfortunately I can't reproduce your problem. If I start FAHControl first it automatically starts FAHClient.

What, if anything, does clicking on the Fold button do?

If nothing just start FAHClient before starting FAHControl which should allow you to open and quit FAHControl at any time. Don't close the command window for FAHClient, just minimize it if you wish. Closing the command window will stop the client. You could also replace FAHControl with FAHClient in your windows Startup directory.

Basically, when you start FAHControl first it's supposed to start FAHClient if configured to do so. Quitting FAHControl in this case will also close FAHClient. If you start FAHClient first and then open FAHControl you can quit FAHControl without stopping the client.

Unless you changed one of the default settings during the install, the Fahclient will always start when Fahcontrol is launched.

Install again, but use the express install option, keeping current configs.

Just an update--I have reinstalled after making all suggested changes, and everything is working! GPU's always at 99%, and my PPD has almost doubled! Thanks a ton guys, you were all very helpful! =]

Some tips to help:
Reload FAH without removing or deleting anything. The set-up will find your current config file and ask if you would like to keep it. Change that to no and reenter your information again and select GPU only. Here is a link to a post I put up on here yesterday, this should help you get more out of your GPU's :)

Here is also a screen shot of my desktop with all the info you need

Unknowingly, I'm new to this forum and have not figured out how to post a pic of my desk top on here :eo

Download MSI's Afterburner software (http://www.guru3d.com/files_categories/ ... aking.html)
This program will show you how much of your GPU's are being used 8-)

One thing to watch for that caught me out for a while reducing my GPU speed was flash adds sometimes rotating and running a video...

Some certain video's reduce my 5850 clock down to 400MHz and the speed does not increase again until that page is closed / reloaded without the video etc or the flash process or plugin container(FireFox for me) is ended.

Glad you found your solution though also ;)
