Hi Everyone,

I am new to Folding at Home so please forgive me if I am missing something.

I have installed the client on a Debian GDM3, so video drivers are installed and working.

However only the SMP ever does any work. The GPU just sits there saying Ready and Unknown ( see attached image )



So my question is simple ? Why is it not using the GPU and can I make it somehow.

Welcome. Sorry, no. Gpu isn't supported in linux yet. Also need a 5xxx ati card or newer.

What a pity as always Linux lack of hardware support is it's downfall.

Since you have a GPU slot that won't work, I suggest you delete the slot rather than keeping it at ETA:unknown.
