weird core crash
Posted: Sun Sep 23, 2012 1:24 ami keep having a weird crash bug, and it only affects one of my computers. i have another one with an x6 in it, and it works fine (i even swapped the cpu's, but that wasn't the issue).
System:

after 65%, nothing is head of it, and it continued running the gpu wu fine. nothing shows up in the logs as an abnormality, and afaik, av/firewall isn't causing issues (i checked all the logs, nothing).
when i do log in to the computer (using tightvnc), i get a notice that fahcore_A4 has broken, i exit out of this message, and restart f@h, and it resumes working normally. nothing is overclocked at all, and temps are fine (better than fine if you consider 40c on full load good). if anyone has any ideas before i reinstall the os, it'd be appreciated. i should also mention that it was a pain getting it installed and working for remote access, i eventually resorted to copying and modifying the config from another similar machine for it to work right (other machine had same os and cpu in it).
