FAH on Win98 on a 3DS?

Postby Stonecold » Sun Dec 25, 2011 11:52 pm

I don't know if this belongs here, but I don't know where else to put it.

Okay, so recently, I bought an R4 card for my Nintendo 3DS, and I'm going to use it to install a Windows 98 emulator on it. I'm thinking of putting Folding@home on that, but I'm not sure if the Nintendo 3DS has hardware capable of returning WUs within the deadline (even if its hardware is capable of running Windows 98). Does anyone know if that would work? As far as I know, its specs are: duel ARM11 (1048 0H) CPUs @ 266 MHz each, 128 MB of FCRAM, 4 MB of VRAM, and a PICA200 GPU or PICA200 Lite @ 133 MHz. And would running Folding@home on Windows 98 on a Nintendo 3DS for extended periods fry its hardware? I don't know if it's built for constant 100% CPU/GPU usage.

Also, if this is not related enough to Windows 98 for this forum, would someone please let me know?
