Only one smp in 8 hours

I fired up 2 16 core servers last night and only could get 1 WU between them. Is it just me or is it Stanford servers

Could be both, not enough information provided to even guess. A lot will depend on how you have configured those two servers, and what number of cores your client is requesting WU's for. If you post the first 100 or so line of the log file, that will give information on configuration and what type of WU's are being requested.

Based on my Xeon 1230v3 running best with EDIT: 6 threads.
Yes, I've just changed it to that, and it's MUCH better than 4 threads. So take one CPU core off for each GPU, and go down again if needed to get to an even number of cores, do not use an odd number.

FahCore_a4 is really the only one being assigned to CPUs. It replaced a number of earlier cores for CPUs. There are a variety of different active projects, though.
