I've been getting this message (prefaced by Connecting to Assignment Server line) this morning on a 9800gtx+ machine; my handful of other cards are all receiving work, including 8800gt's and 9800gt's. The internet connection for the machine is fine. Is there a specific assignment server down? Something I should do? I've hard booted the system and all otherwise looks fine at this end.
Don't know what it was but I resolved it by upgrading to 7. No trouble finding a work server.
