CORE_UPDATE question

Post by NookieBandit »

I'm running Nvidia and AMD GPUs with mulitple GPUs of the same brand in both systems, using the "advanced" flag. Today, the Nvidia systems and the AMD systems received a "waiting on FahCore Update" on one of the GPU slots, while the rest of the GPUs continue to crunch away. That means the GPUs waiting for the core update will not perform any work. I'm assuming that the rest of the GPUs in each system have to finish their work units before the core will be updated? Is my assumption correct?

Yes, the core cannot be updated while it's in use.
