In older versions of FAH there was a link that showed the status of various servers. In this version there is a link to a Work Server log that hasnt' been updated since 2012. Is there a usable link? Lately I have been waiting for hours or a day for WS assignment for CPU WUs. I am using version 7.4.4. The GPUs have been getting WUs though they may have obtained them 1 or 2 days ago.
I see nothing posted on the servers status.

There are a variety of issues that might contribute to having trouble getting an assignment, some of which can be easily discerned from that page and some of which are more obscure. I recommend you post the applicable segments of your log in accordance with the instructions linked below.
