is it possible to fold with GPU only

First of all thanks for your amazing work,
Second, I hope that I'm posting in the right section/place.
I was wondering if there was a way to only have the GPU working. I'm working on a laptop with a dedicated GPU and most of the time I don't use it. On the other hand I quite need my cpu, and the range on the web control panel when on moderate still use 10 of my 12 threads (which is still too much for me) but totally disable the gpu when in light mode (cpu use 5 threads then), which could work for me. I see that there is an option to start the app with the command line with "--gpu=false" but nothing for the disable the CPU. So is there a way to have more control over which component I want FAH to use ?

Hi,

you can use the advanced control GUI (FAHControl) to delete the CPU Slot, so you can keep the GPU running. Please be aware that the GPU core also needs up to one CPU thread per GPU to feed data to the GPU, so you may still see some CPU load.

In the taskbar to the lower right of the screen, you should see a F@H molecule icon, click it (you may need to click an Up Arrow to see it ^)
The second item in this menu is Advanced Control, click it
On this screen to the left is a Configure button, click it
Now you get a screen with a Slots tab, click it
On this white field should be a cpu item, click it and then click Remove
