Block one GPU -- virtio

I have managed to get Proxmox to properly pass through my extra physical GPU (Nvidia K620) as slot 2. Slot 1 is the virtio display driver that Proxmox uses for console connections. On my system Slot 0 is the CPU. This is all working, but FAHClient is confused by the arrangement and when FAHClient boots it tries to assign the Nvidia drivers to the virtual display virtio. As a result I get the usual cryptic "ERROR:WU00:FS01:Exception: Failed to connect to 192.0.2.1:80: Connection timed out" that actually means it wants to use that GPU but can't.

Is there any way to prevent FAHClient from using Slot 1 virtio? When I try removing it, the FAHClient just slides the slot 2 stuff to slot 1 and then no GPU works. What I am looking for is a way to get FAHClient to ignore one video "card".

If you set an option on that slot

pause-on-start to true

it will not fold

Here is the log file of the most recent runs. Note that Slot 1 is the virtual display, but it shows to be the GM107GL Quadro K620. Slot 2 is actually that physical GPU and you can see it is actually processing work units successfully. As I mentioned in my original post, all seems to be working fine except that error messages that are coming from the false GPU. I am just too much of a consistency nerd to ignore that I guess.

BTW, the same K620 is working in my desktop and they are both folding at about the same rate. So, I trust that the card is properly recognized and is compatible.

It seems that your FS01, the virtual display is attempting to get a WU. Pausing it would prevent that. As JimboPalmer asked, the first 200 lines would allow us to understand the system better and help you out

BTW, the reason it is attempting to connect to "192.0.2.1" is because it has found an unsupported GPU. There's an enhancement request to display a more meaningful message.
