GTX 670 stays at 0%

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though NVidia has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

Sorry, I got nothing at this point. It should just work, after making those changes.

I'll let it stew overnight, see if anything comes up. Also, there are a lot of GPU experts here, so we'll see if they see something I don't see. Saw.

Stew is done. jim ate it. ;)

HWD, please quit the client for a day. This beta project will be well tested and gone soon. This is a known issue as part of testing. Start up the client again tomorrow, hopefully gone by then, and it will start folding normally.

tjlane said: Since these WUs have dumped themselves in the past, however, and not returned properly to our servers here, I think this file may stay on donor's computers - if that's the case, then I'll be in touch to get those files via email!
maybe he should get in touch with tjlane. a PM possibly?? tjlane said he wanted some of these units that fail in the wild.

Do not use the beta flag. All beta assignments have a high risk of failure.
If you use that setting you should join the betateam and participate in that forum

yea its working now, and I thought you had to use the beta flag to get the 670 to work. I'll try without it. the PPD seems low around 15,000.

At first, beta setting was needed for keplers to fold. Those newer projects will eventually move to regular folding, as it appears to have done now.

The GPU FahCores must be updated (and validated) to work correctly with Kepler GPUs and Kepler Drivers. The Pande Group is working to provide support GK104/GK107 hardware but that process isn't finished yet.

Having same issues with ASUS branded GTX660 Ti. After updating the GPUs.txt it now finds the GPU and loads a work unit but stays at 0%. Running Stock Specs and ASUS "GPU Tweak" reports 0% GPU load. This GPU is replacing an ASUS branded GTX560 Ti which runs in same unit fine and 100% GPU usage rate.

Tried 7im's suggestions and I get nothing either. Not sure what's next.

The FAHcore for the Kepler GPU's is still in beta testing. You can read what has been posted by searching for Kepler. If you are interested in beta testing with this GPU, read the policies that need to be followed and apply if you are willing to follow them.
