64bit Kubuntu 12.10, GeForce 9500GT, "empty work" for GPU

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though NVidia has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

64bit Kubuntu 12.10, GeForce 9500GT, "empty work" for GPU

Any ideas on how I can enable GPU folding? CPU folding is working fine.

I use _ instead of . in the urls because the forum won't let me post them.

when I launch FAH, I get this log message:

GPU folding is not supported under Linux. There have been some success with the v6 client using Wine but I do not know that it works for v7.

GPU folding for native Linux is on Stanford's "someday" list. There's no reason to suspect it will be available any time soon, but the V7 client is ready whenever the other pieces are put in place.
