Folding not running on GTX 570/GT 220

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though NVidia has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

Folding not running on GTX 570/GT 220

So I installed F@H v7.1.52 on my computer and while the CPU works just fine my GPUs aren't working at all. I have a GTX 570 and a GT 220 with the latest drivers (306.97). F@H recognizes the GPUs, downloads the WU for them but the logs give me errors.

Edit 2: SOLVED. See below for the solution

Edit: Few things I have tried. I've updated the GPUs.txt, made sure it's not running as a service, still working.

Hardware configuration: Machine #1:

Intel Q9450; 2x2GB=8GB Ram; Gigabyte GA-X48-DS4 Motherboard; PC Power and Cooling Q750 PS; 2x GTX 460; Windows Server 2008 X64 (SP1).

Machine #2:

Intel Q6600; 2x2GB=4GB Ram; Gigabyte GA-X48-DS4 Motherboard; PC Power and Cooling Q750 PS; 2x GTX 460 video card; Windows 7 X64.

Machine 3:

Dell Dimension 8400, 3.2GHz P4 4x512GB Ram, Video card GTX 460, Windows 7 X32

I am currently folding just on the 5x GTX 460's for aprox. 70K PPD

The 220 seems to be running. That card is a low-end card so that I would just give it more time to see if it completes a frame.

With the 570, seems to be HW. I would stop OC'ing if you are. Also check the cards temps. You also may be running into power issues as the source of the problem.

Thanks for trying to help, I'm not OCing it anymore beyond the stock and temps are fine. I did figure out the solution, a bit of Googling found that fredfoobar posted a solution here. Apparently the problem is that The symptom is hanging WUs, and it only seems to happen with mixed Fermi/non-Fermi GPUs. The order in which GPUs are being configured by FAHControl (and thus the GPU ID FAHClient passes to the cores) is not equal to the actual CUDA/OpenCL GPU ID, so Fermi WUs are trying to run on non-Fermi GPUs, and vice-versa. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future release - ensuring that GPUs are enumerated in CUDA/OpenCL ID order should do the trick.
