Gigabyte GTX 660 problem

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though NVidia has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

Gigabyte GTX 660 problem

Post by Creedan »

Hi, I'm running the new 7.2.9 client and have up to date drivers but when I run the GPU slot it just sits at 0%. What am I missing here?

Thanks

Welcome to the folding support forum Creedan.

Please copy/paste your log between code tags showing all three sections.

If you're unsure how to do that see: viewtopic.php?p=225958#p225958

Welcome to foldingforum.org, Creedan.

It's generally helpful if you post the first page of the log where your system is described (click "Refresh") or to add it to your User Control Panel Profile, but I didn't need it this time. Stanford is still in the process of updating the FahCore that's required by Kepler.

01:27:32:WU01:FS00:0x15:Folding@Home GPU Core
01:27:32:WU01:FS00:0x15:Version 2.22 (Thu Dec 8 17:08:05 PST 2011)

You'll need to do this manually since they didn't update your machine yet.
1) Shut down FAHClient.
2) Open the "data directory"
3) Delete the folder called "cores"
4) Restart FAH.
