Freezing...repeatedly

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though NVidia has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

So I've swapped out the graphics card, still crashes, I swapped out my memory, still crashes. At this point I'm concerned it is the hard drive. Power supply is fine. Thanks for the help!

On another of my distributed computing projects (not Folding), I have had to increase the power limit on my GTX 660s and 660 Ti to keep them from crashing, or at least down-clocking. You can do that with Nvidia Inspector, which I find easiest to use, or else MSI Afterburner. I now set the cards to either 105% or 110% maximum power limit. It should be no problem if your temperatures are reasonable (mine are around 70 C or less).

You may need to reduce the clocks and/or increase the core voltage too, but I would start with the power limit first.
