why can't my geforce 405 get work. when i tried to use my geforce 405 with cuda. i always comes out this:
14:22:56:WU01:FS01:Connecting to assign-GPU.stanford.edu:8080
14:22:57:WU01:FS01:News: Welcome to Folding@Home
14:22:57:WARNING:WU01:FS01:Failed to get assignment from 'assign-GPU.stanford.edu:8080': Empty work server assignment
14:22:57:ERROR:WU01:FS01:Exception: Could not get an assignment

for cpu everything is ok.

The Geforce 405 is a rebranded Geforce 210, the GPU is GT218 which is from the Tesla family. The FAH version for it is core 0x11, which may not still be supported. It is possible it is not in the whitelist.

That GPU is in the whitelist/blacklist:
0x10de:0x10c5:::M116N []
The colons in the middle between the device ID and the description have no numbers in between, that indicates this card is blacklisted. Someone may recall the reason, but usually it was because a specific card while using a GPU that was nominally usable for folding, that model failed to give valid results. Older cards with GPU's that are no longer supported also will have a similar entry.

As for Core_11 projects, there are still a few projects running. The core has been announced as being end of life, the work is estimated to be running out in the next year or so - http://folding.stanford.edu/home/remind ... -core78-2/.
