my gtx1050ti not folding, stuck on waiting for idle

I unticked the on idle option, and I have also gone to configure-slots-folding slots-GPU and removed the idle option. My CPU is folding just fine, it is just my GPU. Any help?

Welcome to the F@H Forum Dosoku,

Please set the Folding Power option to Medium or Full. When it is on Light, GPU folding will only occur when the system is idle.

According to your log, your GPU is still paused:

I guess your slider in Advanced Control is on light. Just move it to middle or full.

Then you should edit your CPU slot: Configure -> Slots -> CPU -> Edit -> Enter 4 (instead of -1 I suppose) -> OK -> Save. It is not obligatory, but it would be safer, as for now, FAH has to lower the number of active threads from 5 to 4 before each WU:

Thanks for the kind support. Even after changing the bar, my GPU would be stuck on download and log would say

but it seems like there weren't any slots in Alzheimer's. As soon as I changed it to COVIS-19 it started downloading.

Folding@Home is almost totally focused on COVID-19 at this point, I am set to Any Disease, but get all COVID-19 Work Units.
You can't fault them for this, but it does not allow other focuses.

I get about 190k PPD with my Low Profile GTX 1050 ti on Core_22, closer to 160k PPD on Core_21.

The setting for disease is supposed to be a preference, so if none are available for Alzheimers then a WU for another project should have downloaded. Changing to COVID-19 may have been just coincidental and there just has not been any GPU WUs available for your 1050ti, or there might be an issue on the server.
